If you’re looking for an affordable place where you can relax and enjoy “me” time, then business owner Miasuki Sanders has the place for you. With a grand opening in July, Sanders launched a spa service for Sandusky residents so they could have a chance to take time for themselves.
Meet Miasuki: Miasuki Sanders is CEO and sole service provider of Belleza Pura by Miasuki. "Belleza Pura" means "Pure Beauty" in English, and Sanders "decided to keep [the name] in Spanish because it's my first language and it represents my culture and women around me."
A proud immigrant from Peru, Sanders found herself in Sandusky with her husband and his family and wanted to bring her love of beauty to the area. Having a passion for the industry at a young age, through hard work and determination, she decided to go to school and become an entrepreneur.
Services offered: Some of the services provided at her spa are lash extensions, brow services, and skin treatments, such as facials and waxing. Sanders said she soon will add skincare and cosmetic tattooing treatments as well.
Sanders shares that her most popular services are eyelash extensions and brows. This is evidenced by the fact that she soon will offer lash extension classes. She “will provide everything people need to know to be successful in the industry – stay tuned!”

“I believe in God to put me in the right direction in my life and I also believe in myself,” she shares. “I work hard, and I don’t give up.
“My business is proof that we can do and achieve anything when you stay focused, work hard and dedicate yourself.”
Since Sanders immigrated to the U.S., she does not have family in the area, but finds support and love from her husband’s family and the Sandusky community. Her in-laws have been pivotal in her life.
“I am very grateful for them,” she says. “I love them so much and I also like this town because they support each other.”
Faith is the word that she holds onto the tightest.
“I trust that God has something special for me that I can share with people,” she says. “He gave me this talent to serve and help people through the beauty industry.”
Her goal is to make people “feel beautiful and more confident.”
This is her way of giving back to a community that has made her feel so welcome.
“It makes me happy every time I see that happy face after each service,” Sanders says.
Giving back comes in many forms and for Sanders, this comes in making residents feel good about themselves.
