What is it: There soon will be a new choice for rental living in the area when Redwood Sandusky opens in February. The property will include 136 single-story apartment homes, ranging in size from 1,294 to 1,620-square-feet.
Redwood Living Inc., is developing the community off East Perkins Avenue near the end of Strub Road. Redwood Living Inc. has already built neighborhoods in Norwalk and Vermilion.
“Redwood’s signature single-story design combined with amenities like attached garages, personal patios and private entrances are unique accommodations in the rental world and help create the feeling of living in a single-family home,” says Taylor Haley, vice president of property operations at Redwood.
What is included: Residents will have four floor plans to choose from, each with two bedrooms, two baths, and attached two-car garages. Redwood Sandusky apartments are designed as open floor plans with eat-in kitchens and large pantries.
The apartments have vaulted ceilings, large en-suite closets, and will have an on-site property management with the maintenance team available at all times.
In addition, residents will be able to enjoy green spaces that are part of the community design, with designated parking for guests. It’s also a pet-friendly community, allowing up to three pets per home.
Other features include large closets, washer/dryer hookups, full-sized appliances, upgraded finishes and features, and extra living spaces that are commonly used for at-home offices and personal gyms.
There also will be 10 apartment homes to have extended garages for more parking and storage available. Monthly rental rates will start at $2,199. There are additional fees for pets.
